Scouting Report
Joel Williams is a 6’1” 180 pound defensive back. He has a good frame, which is what Florida’s cornerback coach, Torrian Gray, likes to see in cornerbacks. Williams is a great athlete, as he also plays wide receiver and is a returner in his high school. Williams is a big, physical corner with good coverage skills and hands. With Chris Steele no longer at Florida, this was a big get for the Florida Gators as they’ll be needing some cornerbacks for the 2020 season. This was a very nice pickup for the Florida Gators defense.
