Another rough night for Miami Heat fans as the Miami Heat (10-23) lose to the Charlotte Hornets (19-14) 91-82. Even with Goran Dragic back from injury, the Heat still struggled mightily on offense. Hassan Whiteside has also struggled big time scoring and rebounding wise. The one player from the Heat that has really stepped up has been second year player, Josh Richardson. At the end of the day, Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets were too much for the Miami Heat. Here is the Heat vs Hornets game recap.
The Miami Heat
The Miami Heat’s starting lineup against the Charlotte Hornets featured Goran Dragic at point guard, Josh Richardson at shooting guard, Justise Winslow at small forward, Luke Babbitt at power forward and Hassan Whiteside at center. Tyler Johnson continues to light it up on offense for the Heat as he dropped 18 points off the bench. Tyler Johnson also had 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Wayne Ellington contributed off the bench as well has Wayne dropped 12 points. Hassan Whiteside had 10 rebounds but only 8 points. Goran struggled with only 5 points shooting 2 for 11 on field goals.

Kemba Walker was the player of the game as he dropped 22 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Nicolas Batum got a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Not a lot of scoring on both sides in the game as both teams shot the ball under 45 percent.
The Miami Heat will travel north to take on the Boston Celtics. This will be the last game for the Heat in the year of 2016. The year of 2016 has not been nice to the Miami Heat with Wade leaving to Chicago, Bosh continuing to have blood clot issues and the Heat struggling this season. Hopefully, the Heat can beat Isaiah Thomas and the very tough Boston Celtics to end 2016 on a high note. The Heat will play the Celtics on December 30th at 7:30pm EST. The Heat is on!
